SILENT DISCO YOGA ON THE BEACH!
We’re on the move again and hosting a very special IBIZA CLASSICS Silent Disco Yoga session, this time at the stunning Watergate Bay just north of Newquay! This will be followed straight afterwards by a super relaxing meditation session. With free parking (after 4pm) and acres of golden sand, this event is set to be an experience like no other!

If you haven’t yet made our previous sessions, our SILENT DISCO YOGA class is a yoga experience not to be missed!
The all levels vinyasa flow class will be accentuated by wearing headphones and immersing yourself into a musical journey of Ibiza classic hits as you practice – don’t worry, the headphones stay on! The class is taught by Jen from Oceanflow Yoga, using a microphone that you will also hear via the headphones and postures are sequenced to the varying rhythms of the uplifting playlist. It’s a very immersive yoga experience! Beginners are welcome as there will be options offered for all.
The specialised headphones are pre-sterilised and are provided as part of the ticket price. You will be able to hear both the music and Jen’s melodic voice to guide you through the class.
Please note:
- Mats will not be provided so please bring your own or a large beach towel to practice on. We have a limited number of yoga mats for hire. Please get in contact before the event should you need one.
- The main council carpark in Watergate is free of charge after 4pm. This gives you an hour to park, walk down to the beach and check in. Please note that it still may be busy as we are in peak season so if you are able to car share with friends, get dropped off or cycle then all the better!
- There are plenty of facilities at Watergate Bay so perhaps come down for the day and enjoy a surf lesson or some amazing food!

We are super excited to bring you this IBIZA CLASSICS Silent Disco Yoga session to make the most of where we live down here in Cornwall, sharing the experience with both our local community and visitors to the area. Although the rules have been relaxed, we still ask you to be mindful of the personal spaces of others around you. Not everyone is in the same situation and not everyone will be comfortable being in close quarters with people so please be aware of this, especially when queuing.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
There will be a clear queuing system on arrival. When you approach the check in desk, just let the team member know the name that you booked your ticket under. There is no need to print off your ticket as we will have your name written down at the desk. Mat spaces will be pre-raked out in the sand to give you plenty of space. As you enter the zoned off yoga area, choose where you would like to practice and lay your mat down on top of one of the pre-marked spaces.

5pm – 6:15pm
Join us for a memorable Vinyasa Flow yoga session, building energy through movement whilst listening to the sound of classic Ibiza hits. There will be plenty of room so we can spread out over the entire beach – look out for the tall flags (with this event we will likely be in the middle of the beach just below the high tide mark).

The MEDITATION SESSION
6:30pm – 7:15pm
Join Stretch as he leads you through a sublime 45 minute Yoga Nidra guided meditation. Binaural Beats are played into the headphones to help heighten this deeply relaxing and restorative experience. A must attend experience to create some valuable headspace in this busy world!

Yoga Mats…
We have a very limited number of yoga mats which we can hire out for this event. If you need one then please get in contact with us and we can hire you one for £2 per mat. We also have plenty of yoga mats for sale so if you would like to invest in one, click on the button below. PARKING – There are two large Pay and Display carparks in Watergate. The council run grass car park in the valley is free after 4pm. Please bear in mind that Cornwall is very BUSY. If you are able to walk or cycle please do. If you need to drive, give yourself PLENTY of time. We would recommend arriving an hour or more early to just enjoy the beach. This way there is no stress with rushing to make it to class.
CANCELLATION POLICY – We have a 3 day (72 hour) cancellation policy. Unfortunately if you are not able to make the event within this time frame, you will be unable to get a refund or swap your booking onto another event.
